This morning we drove to the area where the balloons launch... Fiesta Park. Today was balloon racing...not a lot of balloons participated, but you still get the feeling your are at the Balloon Fiesta. We are planning for Balloon Fiesta 2009!

Drove through rush hour traffic in Albuquerque...I don't know which is worse... the morning rush hour traffic in Albuquerque or the noon rush hour traffic in Dallas. Thanks to my GPS..it helped alot!

We had breakfast at the Sandia Resort and Casino. Great buffet breakfast. We did do a "little" gambling...I put $20 in a penny machine and on my second try won $132.00...I decided it was time to leave. This is a new casino...only about 7 years old added on to the resort.

This is the view we had at breakfast...

We then went to spend the rest of our day at Old Town. So much to see and so much to do. I have not had much of problem parking in Old Town, which helps. Found some beautiful jewelry and some pottery.

There were people selling their CD's and playing music. There was always chairs and tables in these areas so we could sit and, of course, eat ice cream.

Someone had this car on display... the car actually worked.

The original Navajo Code Talkers were selling their book for $25 and $45 with signatures. The men that were there were some of the original Navajo Code Talkers in the war.

By the Visitor's Center in Old Town there was a blow -up of Noah's Ark. Someone offered to take our picture. Don't know who the dude was in the picture and would lose too much of the picture if I cut him out.

Decided I needed some red peppers...don't know why and don't know what I am going to do with them...all I do know is I NEEDED THEM!

This is a picture of one of the shops in Old Town. Notice the red peppers on first floor and the green, yellow, and red peppers on second floor.

I spoke with Jennifer and my Matthew today...I miss them...Grandma Deb will be home soon. Tomorrow we are going to the Turquoise Museum in Albuquerque and then on our way to Gallup, New Mexico. I believe the drive is only 135 miles. Piece of cake.
