Shamrock, Texas - 91 (very warm) degrees
Miles from Liberty, Missouri to Shamrock, Texas...527 miles
Drove through the following States...Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, part of Texas.
Left Liberty Missouri about 7am. Liberty is about 10 miles from Kansas City. We drove around Kansas City, thanks to my GPS, with very little problem. Since it was Saturday morning traffic was low. The average gas price was $3.29 for premium and I averaged 24 mpg. It was very windy the entire day.
Drove through Kansas...it is very flat and not much to look at.
Stopped for lunch and saw this truck...it has two blades that go on the energy windmills. These windmills are all over especially in Oklahoma and Texas.
Today was long and not much to look at. We checked in abut 4:30pm and are staying in Shamrock Texas.
Tomorrow we are off to Albuquerque! Only 300+ miles.
