I was in the Cities this weekend to babysit. Jennifer starts her new job in the ER on Monday so she and Chris wanted to spend an evening together...so I got to babysit. We all went to Church then the children and I picked up pizza and went home to watch a Garfield movie and ate pizza.

I also went to Julie's for lunch on Saturday...actually I took Julie out for lunch on Saturday. I paid $2.09 for premium gas in Blaine, Minnesota...regular unleaded gas was $1.84...lowest in years.

Fall brings leaves, snow, cold, and Halloween. Jennifer took these pictures of Matthew and Megan playing in the leaves...the thought of leaves makes me sneeze and wheeze!

Halloween...Matthew was Robin and decided to be Flash Gordon for the school party. Meggie was a pink bunny.

Even though it is November 16, we have no snow (yippee) and it is fairly warm for this time of year. This picture was taken through a window at Jennifer's house. I just didn't feel like getting my shoes and coat on to go outside.

I had a great weekend in the Cities, as always. Always great to see Julie and Jennifer and her family. Had a sleep-over with the grandchildren and left for Eau Claire around 9am today.

Megan turned seven years old on October 23, 2008! She is in first grade and is still waiting to lose a tooth. Aunt Julie, and the grandma's and grandpa's got to together this weekend to celebrate her birthday.

Waiting for everyone to arrive.
When I came she was sitting on the fire hydrant in front of her house...
waiting, waiting, waiting.

Meggie and Granny B checking out her teeth to see if any are loose...
she does have one tooth on the bottom that is loose.

Jennifer made a poster that has pictures of Megan
for each year since she was born.

Time to open the presents...not sure yet what that iTunes card is used for.

An iPod!...from Grandma Deb...just what she always wanted
and I am sure needed. Every child needs an iPod...

A little explanation as to how to use the iPod.
Dad uploaded pictures of the family and also uploaded some songs...
so, she is set to go.

Uno Attack! Fun game...we played two games...and...yes...I lost both games.

SPIDERMAN!

Twister! We decided she can play that game with her friends.

ROBIN!

Matthew drew this picture of Batman. He is a very good artist for his age.

Cake time!

Well, Megan is seven! My how the seven years have flown by. I have enjoyed watching both Megan and Matthew grow. Both are great children and the next years will be just as fun to watch as the last seven. Great job Mom and Dad!
