Liberty Missouri - 75 (warm) degrees
Miles from EC to Liberty Missouri - 481 miles
Drove through the following States...Minnesota, Iowa, part of Missouri
Left EC at 7am this morning in dense fog...had the fog until we crossed over to Minnesota at Wabasha. The rest of the day was sunny. I paid $3.29 for premium gas in Missouri and averaged 25.5 mpg.
Our first stop was right inside the Iowa border...the Diamond Jo Casino. I, of course, left them $20. Stay for about 1/2 hour...long enough.
We had packed a lunch and ate our lunch at the Visitor's Center in Iowa (across from the casino).
We are staying at the Hampton Inn in Liberty Missouri. Checked in around 4:30pm.
Tomorrow we will be staying in Shamrock Texas.
